Which false eyelash style is best for my eyes?

You can wear any of our false eyelashes with your eyes, however some styles will typically work better on certain eye types versus others.  We have written a few blog posts about styles for the following eye shapes:

How to put on false eyelashes? 

Applying false eyelashes is a painless, fast and easy process once you get use to doing it.  As with all things, it just takes a little time and practice.  Read our How to Apply False Lashes article for detailed, step by step, instructions.

Will it harm my own lashes?

False eyelashes will not harm your existing lashes.  The lashes are typically glued above your existing lashes, but the glue is light in nature and easily removed with makeup or glue remover.

What are they made of?

Our lashes are made of sterilized human hair or premium cruelty-free synthetic hair.

How do I remove false lashes?

Removing the lashes is a simple and painless process.  If you applied the lash with very little glue, you can gently pull the lash off from the outer corner to the inner corner of your eye.  Do not tug on the lash too hard.  If you cannot gently remove the eyelash by gently pulling, soak a cotton swab in a non-oil based makeup remover or glue remover and gently rub the lash line with the cotton swab.  Do this to both eyes and let the remover set for 30 seconds so the glue softens. If the remover is applied properly, you should be able to gently pull on the false eyelash to remove it.  Make sure to grab the false eyelash as close to your eyelid as possible starting at the outer corner of your eye.

How many times can you reuse a pair of lashes?

Lashes purchased from Crave Lashes are hand made and will last on average 6 to 8 times.  Many of the store bought lash brands are inferior in quality and will last for just 1 or 2 uses.  Properly removing your lashes and storing them in the original box are critical for maximizing the number of uses.

Do falsies only come in one size?

All of our eyelashes only come in one size allowing you to trim them for a perfect fit.

Can mascara be applied to false lashes?

Yes, mascara can be used on the false lashes to create a more dramatic look.  However, using mascara generally reduces the number of times you will be able to re-use the lashes.

Is glue included with the lashes?

Glue is not included and must be ordered separately as needed.  Crave Lashes latex free glue is formulated to set fast and makes putting your lashes on easier and is available in Dark and White.  See our glue under accessories.

How do I take care of the lashes?

Our lashes are designed to be reused when properly cared for.  So how do you care for your lashes?  Here are the 3 most important tips to ensure you maximize the number of uses out of each lash:

1. Remove any glue from the false eyelash after each use.  You can do this by gently peeling off the glue using your fingers or tweezers.
2. Remove any mascara/makeup from the lash.
3. Store the falsies in the original tray and box to help ensure the lash will retain it's shape and curvature.
